Michigan Bottle Act enacted.

1980
|
KANSMACKER MFG. was formed shortly to provide equipment to help grocers handle returnables.Machines were marketed under the commercial name KANSMACKER and quickly gains the reputation as being the premier source for in-store container handling equipment.
The original KANSMACKER has an 8 and 12 hole version, an attendant sorts containers by distributor . Each distributor has their own tube assigned to them.
Over 2500 Original KANSMACKER's were sold in Michigan and other deposit states

Laws changed and distributors must take back co-mingled containers.

Late 1993
|
The "PARC4" machine was test marketed, an early reverse vending machine that only processes plastic and aluminum deposited soda containers

Nov 1995
|
SuperSeries prototype, reverse vending machine is put into the market for testing.

Sept 1996
|
Market test of the SuperSeries is a complete success!

1999
|
Kansmacker is now Under New Management!!

2001
|
The SuperSeries was "Redesigned" with the new Stainless Steel doors, electronics and software were also redesigned and upgraded.

2002
|
Kansmacker developed a "Single Serve" RVM. One machine per commodity was released for sale.

2003
|
Kansmacker unveiled their new, more compact version of the SuperSeries, the MINI 3in1 RVM! Which is now available for sale.

2006
|
Kansmacker has relocated into their own 50,000 sq ft facility in Lansing MI. to increase machine production to meet product demands.
